Summary[]
The episode begins with blushing and seemingly worried Eros sitting on a couch next to Aphrodite (who's reading) with his hand on a leash holding a calm Sweetpea, thinking about sobbing Psyche. After a few moments, he says to Aphrodite that he wants his own apartment, which she agrees.
The scene changes to Psyche's sisters complaining that every available suitor was chasing after her, and now she was engaged to the wealthiest merchant in the area. Psyche was sobbing in front of them, and they said nothing was ever enough for her.
The scene again changes to Psyche's soon-to-be husband speaking to the crowd that he was more excited about what happens after the ceremony than the ceremony itself. The crowd laughs while Psyche looks down, uncomfortable. Her husband disapproves of her mood and says he thought she should laugh at his jokes as he paid a lot for her, her clothes and jewellery, that he expected gratitude form such expenses. He aggressively grabs her face while doing so.
A few moments later, the torches go out while the crowd screams. Eros arrives, his body covered in full armour, his wings expanded, his eyes set at Psyche. The merchant spots him and yells at him "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" Eros says he's there for Psyche, and he says he isn't asking. He then points his fingers towards her and magic radiates from his fingertips that lift Psyche into his arms. The crowd gasps and screams her name. Someone asks Eros to stop and asks him who he was, which he replied to as: "The ugliest creature you have ever seen."
